Wizards VS Heigham

After Taverham altered our plans last weekend, Heigham pulled through and kindly hosted this morning. Weather held out and we had a game on our hands!
Despite the Wizards applying early pressure, striking the woodwork and creating several chances before the first break, it was the hosts who went into the second half with a two-goal advantage. Some will recall our last encounter with Heigham but the kids didn’t let that get to them, working hard to come from behind. It was penalty drama which equalled the tie, alongside a great bit of teamwork and selflessness beforehand.
In the end, despite the advantage our opposition earnt themselves, Hockering were the ones very unfortunate not to come out on top as the scoreline finished two-apiece.
Will continue finishing practice during training as we move onto next weekend!
