Drayton Drama! – Wizards vs Drayton

The Wizards were looking to build upon last weekend’s superb showing as Drayton hosted this morning’s friendly.
This time round our opposition were first to score, with a poacher’s finish giving them the advantage. Hockering were relentless, battling hard to equalise as both keepers were called into action. Forcing save after save, a strong battle was fought, however it was us with the upper hand going into the second half with two fine finishes finding the net.
In the end, the scoreline was shared at two goals apiece with both teams giving a strong account for themselves. No bad feat going toe to toe with next weekend’s cup semi-finalists so definitely plenty of positives to be taken.
Great opportunities for experimentation with the numbers had today, learning more and more every session. Onwards and upwards for Watton next week!
