Action all around! – Wizards/Hawks

Another Hockering morning in full swing, this time with both teams in action.
Kicking off first with the Wizards hosting Taverham, plenty of action was on show. Setting out with the intent of a good rematch following their previous encounter, the kids did exactly that.
Scoring early, momentum only shifted up the gears with plenty of hard work doing us as coaches proud. Even drama on the cusp of half time couldn’t stop what was a prolific attacking display and team performance, improving well on the passing front but equally another game to build upon going forward!
The second half saw some equally important 5aside practice, all perfect preparation for the month ahead of us!

Kicking off second were the Hawks. Despite meeting for the fifth time this season, we were finally hosts in another Hockering vs Heigham classic, one filled with drama and entertainment.
Taking to the game with intent, both teams started strong. The lead was however grasped with a well-worked Hockering corner and was kept going into the first break. Heigham gave two swift replies, taking advantage of an unfortunate ricochet in the box to gain the lead.
Heads dropped. Frustrations grew as we reached the dying minute. Or so we thought…
A throw-in posed an opportunity. An opportunity taken and converted to produce an equaliser at the death. Kids go mad!
Two goals apiece between two well-matched sides. What more can you ask for!
