Hockering mornings are always busy with both league and cup action on show today. As well as ourselves, our under 7s and under 8s were also facing respective Aylsham sides.
With myself absent, Lewis and Tom took charge, looking to build up on last weekend’s result:
‘In tricky muddy conditions both teams played impressive football. Plenty of goals in the first half saw the two sides evenly matched with some good chemistry beginning to show between players. In the end Hockering had the edge, coming out victorious! There was some evident improvement in many individual performances and plenty of happy faces to show for it. The players’ decision-making was a clear standout today with the team able to adapt throughout the game to better exploit opposition weaknesses. Working in possession is something we may now look to improve in training with the team looking to take their performances to the next level.’
