Primary Cup

1 min read

The lads progress to the quarter-final stages of the Norfolk County FA Primary Cup with a 5-4 away win over Dersingham Rovers A-Team.

We made incredibly hard work after a very good start as we allowed a 1-nil lead to slip to a 3-1 deficit. We dragged ourselves back into it and went in at halftime just 1 behind.

Dersingham then made it 4-2 early in the second half but after a quick change of formation we were soon back in it and when we got going Dersingham couldn’t cope with the fast attacking football and we ran out 5-4 winners.

We really made hard work of it with questionable decision-making and poor passing. Ultimately our quality and fitness saw us through.

The game ended on a sour note with Midfielder Ross Hudson being transported to A&E with a broken leg and dislocated ankle.

Thank you to the volunteers at Dersingham who were incredible with their help with Rossco!
