Hornets stung by Wasps!

Today saw a competitive game against our u8s compatriots, a solid team who didn’t give the trying Hornets an inch. With our recent form it was guaranteed to be a good game and that is what we got.
The game was fierce with strong tackles and hard battling on the ball. We saw both teams have chances and spells in possession but in the end one side was ultimately more clinical. Plenty of positives will be taken once again as it was great to see that the areas worked on in training certainly being taken onboard. Players should be proud of putting up a great fight in one of their toughest challenges so far.
Questionable second half refereeing but overall great compliments from the opposition who thoroughly enjoyed an entertaining match.
