Hawks in action!

1 min read

Improvements all around with a game that saw close chances further forward. The commitment to passing as a team was great to see, playing short from the keeper and looking ahead for teammates.

Against a strong and well-drilled side, individual battles were impressive, going man-to-man with tricky players. The opposition gave a physical account for themselves, which can be frustrating but was soon adapted to.

In the end, with the original league game cancelled, it was good to get something organised, giving the kids another match under their belts, not only as individuals but also as a team. All learning experience and feedback for training.
