A morning of rain and warm spells for our match number 7 of 8, we made the short journey to Easton College.
The first half saw a familiar face in an unfamiliar position in goal! and a very sloppy lethargic half from us. Deservedly going a goal behind and fortuitous to equalize from a strike that went through the keeper.
A few tough words at half time and to be fair we got the reaction we wanted. 2 more goals for yet another hattrick, and further 3 goals shared between 3 players. A good save from another stand in stopper who had the gloves for the 2nd half.
Our MotM played in defence the whole first half and had a run on the right in the 2nd, he did well today, winning the ball, passing it simply and above all else he listened and was more determined than in recent weeks – hence his MotM award which he was genuinely moved by getting!
So 7 out of 7 and 1 left next week v Stoke Holy Cross who sit in 2nd. onwards and upwards!!!
