Heigham host Hornets!

Today we were away, with Heigham hosting this morning’s fixture. The game started strong. The opposition were quick to press, trying to force mistakes, and earnt themselves a peach on an opener, which struck both posts before hitting the net. We countered in the next quarter with a goal that truly defined ‘knock and run’. As the game progressed, Heigham proved themselves a strong and ‘physical’ opponent.
Positives showing from today included again seeing improvement with taking time on the ball, helping find teammates and moving the ball forward, hopefully thanks to the 3v3 matches during training.
Without our regular man between the sticks, we thank the three who stepped up and gave the gloves a go.
